School Of Horsemanship

"When we connect with another living creature, something amazing happens, we become more human."

School Of Horsemanship

The study of horsemanship is the cornerstone of our program. We specialize in teaching riders how to better understand and partner with their horses in order to achieve a higher level of fulfillment and success in the equine sport. At Baker Creek Farm we strive to provide a program for the equestrian in everyone, no matter their age or skill level. That is why our program offers a diverse range of classes and has the ability to provide students with the opportunity to reach their goals whether it be a comprehensive base of knowledge, leasing, horse ownership, competition, locally or on the national stage, and every goal in between.

We specialize in hunters and jumpers, but also offer programs for those who would like to ride on the flat, English or Western. Contact to learn more about lesson formats, pricing, and details.

Young Rider Program (Ages 4-7)

Young Rider Program

Our young rider program is specifically designed to give children a safe and in-depth introduction into the wonderful world of horses. Riders in this program enjoy riding and learning about horses through engaging exercises designed to develop skill while building confidence through knowledge. Our experienced instructors take the necessary time to nurture and guide young children during this very important first step in their riding journey. During this stage, young riders need one on one attention in order to progress in a safe and productive environment. For this reason, all lessons in this program are offered as 45-minute private lessons.
